Our love begins where other people's ends.

Pug Hollow believes that every dog deserves to end his or her life with love, comfort and compassion.

It is unfortunate but often dogs are abandoned at shelters, vet offices or on the side of the road when they become old or terminally ill.
Some of them were family pets who became inconvenient.
Others have never known what it is to be a part of a loving home.

Our mission is to provide as many of those dogs as possible with a  safe, comfortable home where they will be loved and cared for as long as they live, and where they will be compassionately assisted across the Rainbow Bridge if necessary.

It started with a pug who had a massively complicated autoimmune disorder.

Today Pug Hollow is a home based Hospice and long term care sanctuary for small dogs under 25 pounds.

Sanctuary Statistics:

We have 36 residents in the Sanctuary at this time.
Over the course of  a year we anticipate that 1 to 3 of our residents will cross the Rainbow Bridge,
and be replaced with additional residents.
In addition we take in between 1-4 adoptable dogs each year, and place them with loving families.
We have a 100% lifesaving percentage.
All of the dogs taken in by Pug Hollow Sanctuary are either placed with adoptive families
or become permanent lifetimeresidents of the Sanctuary.

Our Residents

The Pug Hollow Horde is comprised of around 30 small dogs of varying ages, and medical conditions.
